LAB Research To Host Safety Pharmacology Seminar In Madison, WI

(”LRI” or “LAB Research”) (TSX: LRI), a rapidly growing global non-clinical contract research organization, announced that it will host an exhibitor’s seminar titled “Study Design in Safety Pharmacology: Emerging Trends in Drug Development” at the upcoming 2008 Safety Pharmacology Society Meeting in Madison, WI.
The informative seminar will take place on Tuesday, 23rd September from 7:00am - 8.00am. The session will be lead by Dr. Simon Authier of LAB Research as well as scientific leaders from AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson. This seminar will provide the participants the opportunity to learn and evaluate the emerging trends in study design and their impact on different phases of drug development. This seminar draws on a broad range of global safety pharmacology experts who have introduced novel study designs and methodologies, which are important to the conduct of non-clinical safety pharmacology studies.
